Persistent heavy rain and flooding continue to batter Great Britain. Officials have issued dozens of flood warnings, including 85 across England and several more alerts throughout Wales and Scotland.

According to the Met Office, the country is facing even more rain, extending a streak where it has rained somewhere in the UK every day for 37 days straight. A meteorologist warned that there is no end in sight to this wet spell. The constant downpours have forced organizers to cancel events and have left some regions with much more rain than they usually see this time of year.
