This article reports on a daycare worker found guilty of murdering a toddler. A jury at the Joliette courthouse convicted Tomy Carranza-Ladry of second-degree murder. He admitted to killing the child, referred to by the pseudonym Dylan, at his daycare in L’Assomption on December 4, 2023. On that day, the child was rushed to the hospital with a deformed skull and bruising, and he later died from severe head trauma.
