A 15-year-old student has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and carrying a blade on school grounds following an attack on a teacher at Milford Haven secondary school in Wales. Police confirmed that the teacher’s injuries, which were first thought to be non-penetrating wounds, were actually stab wounds. The teacher was treated at a hospital and has since been sent home. The Welsh first minister released a statement saying that violence has no place in schools and thanked the emergency services for their quick response. The school remained closed the next day, and police said they would continue to keep extra officers in the area.
