Several protesters were arrested in Minneapolis on Saturday during a demonstration marking one month since the death of Renee Good. Police took the demonstrators into custody outside a federal building after members of the crowd threw bottles and chunks of ice at officers.

The protest was one of two events held that day. Earlier, a separate group gathered in a park to honor the lives of Good and Alex Pretti, both of whom were killed by immigration officers.

Amid these tensions, a federal official announced that some immigration officers will be withdrawn from Minnesota. The move follows new agreements for local authorities to cooperate with federal agencies.
