Iran has sentenced Nobel Peace Prize winner Narges Mohammadi to more than seven years of additional prison time. Her lawyer and supporters confirmed that a court in Mashhad delivered the new sentence. The charges included spreading propaganda and "gathering and collusion," a term often used for planning illegal protests. Along with the jail time, the court imposed a travel ban and ordered her into internal exile. Her supporters stated that Mohammadi has been on a hunger strike. She was originally arrested in December while attending a memorial ceremony.
